Adverse Possession – How your neighbor can “steal” your property.
September 7, 2017 9:55 pm,
Adverse Possession is a doctrine of real property law that allows someone to become the owner of someone else’s property if they use it in a way that fullfils the doctrine’s requirements:

In Arizona, if a person possesses another’s land the owner has 10 years to exert his claim on the land by forcing the “adverse possessor” to stop possessing the property; otherwise, the owner may lose and the possessor may become the rightful owner of the property.
